Before vines were planted, the plots were probably taken over by wild plum trees.
South part of the vineyard, in Nuits-Saint-Georges territory; exposure: east; altitude: 250/270 metres; surface: 7 ha 11; slope: 8 to 12%.
"Les Pruliers" has a sustained colour.
Young, it imposes its personality. Summer fruit flavours mingle with fine plant smells reminiscent of blackcurrant leaves and wild sloe, with liquorice and spicy rose notes in the background.
When mature: fullness and roundness, underlined with a dash of liveliness, that try to hide more austere closing notes. Flavours of cocoa, smoked meat, creosote and undergrowth bouquet are then noticed. In great years, age gives it a generous and sensual sweetness.
